| History and Purpose of Sacred Space:
In 1989, Sacred Space was born out of the
imagination of Kay Eaton and CeCe Miller. Since its inception it has
sparked the imagination of others who wish to live deeply,
compassionately, fully, deliberately, and creatively.
Our
purpose is to provide resources and community programs to aid in
creatively approaching each person’s life circumstances. Sacred Space
assists in expressions through art, music, education, and ritual. We
provide space for laughter, reflection, study, artistic and spiritual
expression and fun.

We invite all to discover support, nurturance,
affirmation, and community. Sacred Space is open to persons of every
age, physical ability, race, culture and spiritual path. You are
offered the opportunity to define, experience, and live your own truth.
Sacred
Space is not a membership organization. Participants become involved at
their own pace. As the essence and energy of Sacred Space is
experienced, participants are impassioned to share their gifts and
talents. Programs, performances, workshops, and rituals involving
music, art, dance, and chant are the fruits of this awakened
inspiration.Meeting
places vary. It is our philosophy that Sacred Space can be established
anywhere. We have danced in convents, held book discussions in coffee
houses, and created art and poetry in business offices and living
rooms. We support individual and group efforts to raise the level of
consciousness regarding issues that affect our everyday lives. Networking
is a cornerstone of Sacred Space. Our website and updates inform the
spiritual, artistic, and healing communities. Participants in Sacred
Space connect with one another, expanding their visions, and
transforming their lives often outside of traditional
models.Capabilities are discovered as evolution takes place. The
capacity to build relationships and join together pursuing like-minded
issues is capitalized on. Partnerships are actively maintained with
colleges and wellness centers to offer workshops, symposiums, and
performances.In Sacred Space, we design performance and thematic programs that foster personal and collective growth and empowerment. We
celebrate the seasons and our conscious connection with the earth and
all living things. Through prayer and ritual, we raise awareness for
ecological responsibility. Soul ActivitiesThe activities and programs that are presented reflect the needs
and desires of each person on their personal journey of self-discovery:
